Where can I use my house account?

Your house account and Member Exit work at all Death & Co locations (New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Washington, D.C.), [Close Company](https://www.closecompanybar.com/) (Nashville, Atlanta), and [Municipal Bar](https://municipalgrand.com/food-and-beverage/municipal-bar) at the Municipal Grand in Savannah. Credits are also valid toward private events across all properties — use them to purchase event tickets, reserve tables, or meet F&B minimums. For Death & Co Brisbane and Melbourne, your concierge can assist. Room bookings at Midnight Auteur properties are not yet eligible; that functionality is in development.

I’m already a Gin & Luck investor. I have perks. How is this different?

As a legacy investor, you receive weekday priority reservations (Sunday through Wednesday), $12 cocktail pricing from our limited menu, and a 10% F&F discount. Membership expands all three and adds several things that don’t exist in the current investor perk set. **On reservations**: members book 30 to 60 days in advance depending on tier, with priority covering peak weekend nights (Thursday through Saturday) alongside weekdays, plus walk-in and waitlist priority at the door and last-minute hot table alerts for same-day availability. **On pricing**: members-only pricing covers the full Death & Co menu, not the limited menu tied to the $12 legacy rate. Beyond that, membership adds quarterly house account credits, birthday and anniversary credits, authorized users with their own cards, member passes for guests, and private event pre-sale access.

How does the house account work? Does my credit expire?

We keep a card on file, and your tab closes automatically at the end of each visit — no waiting for a check. A 20% gratuity applies to all house account transactions on the pre-discount subtotal. Credits load quarterly (every three months on the day of your registration). In Year 1, Founding Members receive both the standard annual credit and the initiation fee conversion, bringing total house account value to $1,200 for Out of Town, $2,000 for Local, and $3,400 for Global. Credits are valid within their quarter and do not roll over. If you spend through your quarterly credit before the quarter ends, a 10% discount applies to all food and beverage for the remainder of that period.

What is an authorized user? How many do I get? How do I add one?

An authorized user gets their own physical and digital membership card tied to your house account, letting them make reservations, access priority seating, and charge to your account independently — no need for you to be present. Out of Town memberships include one authorized user, Local includes two, and Global includes three. You designate them through the member portal and can update them once per membership year.

What is a Member Pass? How do I use one?

A Member Pass lets you extend your membership privileges to a guest when you can’t be there in person. Your guest can use your reservation access, walk-in priority, and house account for the visit. Out of Town members receive four passes per year, Local members receive six, Global members receive unlimited passes. Passes are managed through your member portal or via your concierge.

Can I swap certain perks for more house account credit?

Two perks are swappable at signup for additional house account credit: your Fashioned Lifetime Subscription ($150 value) and your Market Credit plus Welcome Gift ($150 for Out of Town, $250 for Local, $350 for Global). If you’d rather have credit than physical goods or platform access, you can swap one or both, adding up to $300 in additional credit for Out of Town, $400 for Local, and $500 for Global. Swap credits are issued as a lump sum and applied to your house account on request at signup.

What if I want to change my membership later?

Upgrades take effect at the start of the following quarter — you pay the pro-rated difference in annual dues at the time of the request, new tier benefits activate from that quarter forward, and unused credits from your prior tier expire. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current membership year only, with no mid-year downgrades or pro-rated refunds. Memberships renew automatically each year; to cancel, submit written notice at least 30 days before your renewal date. Memberships are non-refundable once purchased.

When will Death & Co Seattle open, and how can I join as a Local member?

Death & Co Seattle is set to open Fall 2026. Join Out of Town now to lock in one of 50 Founding Member spots — your membership transitions to Local rate on opening day, with a bonus credit and no upgrade fee.
